Pokemon is franchise by Nintendo that debuted in the late 90's as one of the key leads of the Game Boy. It featured a young trainer named Red, who strives to control the plentiful creatures who inhabited his world known as Pokemon. As of 2013, Pokemon is one of Nintendo's leading franchises and the second best-selling video game franchise even after Super Mario, also by Nintendo. It's mascot Pikachu. Johnny was once a huge fan of this series, but it has died out subsequently. When Ted won a bet with Johnny, Johnny was forced to pay up on his end of the bargain. This Month of was the result of such (though he has confessed that he was going to review the games regardless). Prior to month of Pokemon Johnny appeared in Pokemon commentaries with BSC and still does today and has let's played the first generation of games on SGB (more specifically the Blue version).
